Do you know if your child has a delay?
Hello all! Yes, I have been MIA. But I am back to answer and talk about all your concerns and worries as a parent. Even though I went to college for years to become a Speech-Language Pathologist, I still had some questions about development. As a result, I read everything I could get my hands on. I have now realized that this made me my own “expert” in this area. So, if you want answers NOW and don’t have the time like I did to research developmental delays and/or disorders then why not ask me?? All of my answers are “jargon” free, meaning that I use only terms that a parent would now, not a specialist in speech pathology or in “Drs.” terms. I also provide you with resources as well as ideas and solutions on how to work with your child. Have a wonderful week!

Change
Change is difficult for all of us. It happens everyday and cannot be stopped. As much as we would all like things to stay the same sometimes, it happens, things change. Change can be as simple as saying the /r/ sound correctly and as complicated as health issues. It can be good or bad, but regardless we must deal with it. As a Speech-language Pathologist, I make change happen for the good. I teach children how to say their sounds correctly or how to say a sentence that is grammatically correct. I can even teach a non-verbal person how to communicate without their voice. I look at change positively. The earlier you learn a new skill, the more likely you will generalize it and make it become part of you. I am here to help you, the parent, create learning environments and solutions to your child’s speech-language-communication delay or disorder. If you have any questions, I am offering **FREE** 15 minute consultations from February 1st until March 1st. Take advantage of this offer and see how I can help you and your child become successful!
